Ward 5 - King Township

There are 6 Wards in the Township of King and Ward 5 covers the western half of King City. The boundaries of Ward 5 are 19th Sideroad to the North, King Vaughan Municipal line to the South, Keele Street to the East, and Hwy 400 to the West.

Ward 5 includes the communities of King City Station, Heritage Park, Kings Cross Estates, and the hamlet of Kettleby. It is home to a vast range of landmarks, places of interest, historic sights, places of worship, and outdoor recreational areas. These include:

King City GO Station, ARTS Society of King, Kettle Lake Park, Township of King Municipal Office, York Regional Police, King City Cemetery, The Kingbridge Center, Bella Banquets, King Heritage and Cultural Centre, Wellesley Park, King City Trail, St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Villanova College, Mary Lake, Sacred Heart Church, King Trails at Centennial, Christ Church Kettleby Anglican, Kettleby Public School, and York Pines United Church.

It is also home to a diverse group of businesses, including:
